Terminal Leisure is an information site. It does not sell travel, hold bookings or take money from you.
The short version
No booking is ever made on this site; every purchase happens with our booking partner under their terms. These terms state our position plainly and are not legal advice.
What we provide
A browsable collection of travel experiences, writing about them, and links to our booking partner, where you can book them. That is the whole service.
What we are not responsible for
- The experience. A third party sets its content, safety and conduct.
- Your booking. Price, availability, inclusions, changes and refunds are governed by our booking partner's terms and the activity provider's rules.
- Activity details. The current booking page is always the authoritative version.
- Third-party sites. Their terms apply once you follow a link.
Accuracy and our own writing
Our recommendations and practical notes are editorial. They are kept separate from details supplied by our booking partner, and they are not a substitute for the activity provider's safety or accessibility information.
Folklore is described as folklore. Nothing here claims any supernatural phenomenon exists.
Your own judgement
Many listings involve uneven ground, stairs without a lift, boats, tides, darkness, cold or enclosed spaces. Check the activity provider's stated requirements. Our practical notes are not a risk assessment.
