Privacy

Short, because there is not much to say. Terminal Leisure is a reading and linking site and is built to stay that way.

Status of this notice

No advertising or mailing provider is connected, and no third-party analytics service is used. Outbound clicks are counted in our own server logs, described below. This notice is revised, with a date, before any of that changes.

What we do not do

No advertising cookies, no third-party ad networks.
No cross-site tracking pixels and no social embeds.
No accounts, so no passwords and no profile to build.
No selling or sharing of personal data. There is none to sell.
No personal data in URLs. Search terms stay in the query string of your own browsing and are not logged against you.

What the site measures

One question: is anyone clicking through to book. Nothing else.

Counts, not people: which page, which module, which listing. An event is five short fields and a timestamp, written to our own server log. There is no third-party analytics service.
No cookie, fingerprint, or identifier that persists between visits.
No IP address stored against an event. Your address is read for a few seconds to rate-limit the newsletter and click endpoints against abuse, held in memory only, and never written down or attached to anything you did.
Any future provider gets named here before it goes live.

When you leave for a supplier

You land on Viator under their policy, and they set their own cookies — including one recording that you came from us, so a commission can be attributed. We never receive your name, payment details or itinerary. How that works.

No mailing provider is connected. The endpoint validates an address, stores nothing, and says so. When a provider is chosen it gets named here; opt-in only, unsubscribe in every issue, never passed on.

Fonts and assets

Typefaces are self-hosted at build time, so loading a page does not announce your visit to a font service. All imagery is served from this domain.

Access, correction and deletion rights are honoured, though there is very little to act on. Contact.
